We have been providing top-level teaching for fifteen years.
Higher School of Technology and Economics is a non-state school located in Szczecin, which specializes in producing highly qualified engineers and specialists in the following sectors: automobile industry and IT.
Our activities focus mainly on practical education, since it is common knowledge that practical experience is essential in both sectors. We are substantially supported by Business Expert Committee, i.e. institutions and businesses connected with automobile industry and IT, which actively participate in the teaching process. Our school is equipped with modern laboratories and workshops, boosted with the now-how provided by various businesses and institutions we cooperate with.
Each year we award several dozen diplomas and engineering titles. Our graduates get on well in both sectors and several of them make a career in leading automotive and IT companies.

- NOVELTY: HMI SYSTEM MODELING
Students select their specialization in their second year of studies.
CHECK WHAT YOU CAN SPECIALIZE IN ON GRADUATION FROM WSTE IN SZCZECIN:
1. AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY
Nowadays a service station is more of a computer service center. It is vital that future engineers learn in arrangements similar to their future workplace, and that syllabuses are adjusted to the field development pace. Our students specializing in automotive technology learn about the construction, operation and service technology of motor vehicles, including state-of-the-art vehicles, and about car electrical engineering and electronics as well as motor vehicle inspection. What is important, WSTE does not forget about economics of services, quality engineering, fundamentals of work organization and the rules of company functioning in the automotive market. This is the knowledge which helps the graduate with the title of an engineer to successfully position themselves on the job market in their area of specialization.
2. ROAD AND RAILWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY
Students learn about a wide range of issues connected with the road and railway traffic safety. This specialization helps to get on the career path in many road maintenance institutions, the Police, the Fire Brigade, Road Transport Inspection, The General Directorate for National Roads, railway companies (cargo and passenger transport) or various offices. The Specialization helps to find a job as an expert in Road Traffic Safety or as an instructor or examiner in Provincial Centers of Road Traffic.
3. TRANSPORT LOGISTICS
The graduate learns about logistics techniques and systems in order to properly realize activities related to logistics with the emphasis on transport, exploitation, maintenance and restoration of shipping and storage capability. The issues discussed in the course of studies include among others: transport organization and management, freight forwarding and customs procedures, shipping technologies, transport law and policies, storage management and logistics information systems. Our graduates in this specialization work in transport and Logistics companies.
4. NOVELTY! HMI SYSTEM MODELING - cooperation with GlobalLogic and Electrobit
Operating control system HMI (Human Machine Interface) is composed of units responsible for the interaction between a human operator and processes taking place in some machines. HMI devices are a part of the process monitoring and controlling system, such as touchscreens, voice commands or dedicated keys, which enable interaction e.g. between a driver and his vehicle. An engineer graduating in this specialization will be able to model HMI systems used in motor vehicles, ships or airplanes.
